The influence of various optimization algorithms on nuclear power plant steam turbine exergy efficiency and destruction

This paper presents an exergy analysis of the whole turbine, turbine cylinders and cylinder parts in four different operating regimes. Analyzed operates nuclear power plant while three regimes are obtained by using optimization algorithms – SA (Simplex Algorithm), GA (Genetic Algorithm) IGSA (Improved Genetic-Simplex Algorithm). regime gives highest developed mechanical equal to 1022.48 MW, followed (1020.06 MW) (1017.16 MW), Original develop 996.29 MW. In addition, causes increase almost all comparison regime. All observed increases destruction - lowest IGSA, finally SA. The efficiency 85.92% is (85.89%) (85.82%), (85.70%). which wet steam low influenced ambient temperature change. shows dominant performance parameters analyzed certain situations overpowered GA. Therefore, performance, can be recommended.
